Recently, Bengaluru traffic police issued an advisory for air passengers travelling to the Kempegowda International Airport in view of the final day of Aero India 2025.

Prayagraj

Context: 

A three-day International Bird Festival will be organized from February 16 to 18, 2025 in Prayagraj.

About the place:

• The city of Prayagraj is among the largest cities of Uttar Pradesh and is situated at the confluence of three rivers- Ganga, Yamuna and the invisible Saraswati.
• The meeting point is known as Triveni and is especially sacred to Hindus. Currently, the Mahakumbh mela is being held here.
• Prayagraj is an Administrative and Educational city. High Court of Uttar Pradesh is also here.
• The main aim of the festival is to inspire youths, nature enthusiasts, and devotees to focus on bird conservation and the protection of their natural habitats.

Paris

India and France co-chaired the Artificial Intelligence (AI) Action Summit held in Paris (France).

The Israeli military began to withdraw from a security zone in central Gaza as part of the cease-fire agreement with Hamas

• The Netzarim Corridor was an area in the Gaza Strip under Israeli military occupation from 2023 to 2025 during the Gaza war.

Freetown (Sierra Leone)

Sierra Leone's capital Freetown unveiled Africa's first heat action plan to tackle rising temperatures.
